In our continuing quest for the perfect GPS add on for Pocket PC, we stumbled on a revealing review of the DConnex DC-0103 BT GPS unit over at Pocket GPS World. On the box, this appears to be a pretty good device. It comes with a DC-0103 Bluetooth GPS receiver, Car Charger, International AC power charger, External Antenna and CD with Manual and software for $230. Introduction "DConnex are a company based in South East Asia (Singapore) that works at bringing GPS electronics to market and also have a retail store where they sell other GPS manufacturer products and will shortly be bringing to market their own branded GPS Receiver the DC-0103.
Some of you may already have noticed the design to be very close to the GlobalSat BT308, and it is. The core GPS is a BT308 I am told with an enhanced battery and firmware update."
Maybe when I trade in my e805 for the e830 (that will have Bluetooth) I wlll look into the Bluetooth GPS...they look so cool.....and from what I've been seeing....$230 is pretty good.

These are selling on EBAY now. They seem to have set a reserve around $160, but at $140 you get a second chance call. They are shipping straight from Singapore, so shipping is about another $30.
But for under $170 total you can get one. I just ordered one today,
we'll see how it works out....
Hmmm! I have a Fortuna bluetooth GPS device. Having used it for over 6 months now, I'd be cautious about purchasing a BT only device.
I was stranded on a motorway (highway) for 30 mins due to a lost BT signal.
I just don't get that problem now that I ONLY connect my Ipaq with the GPS device via a cable (it keeps it charged too).
Now the only issue I have is the length of time it takes the fortuna to pick up a GPS signal, it can take 15-20mins sometimes, which can be a real pain if I have no idea where I'm headed.
Having said that though, I've presently been using my Ipaq and GPS device (with Tom Tom Navigator) on an almost daily basis (40 mile trip). I just can't recommend Tom Tom Navigator highly enough.

To err is human, but to really foul things up you need a computer.
Would you guys quit posting things that make me want to spend more money???
My fiance' is going to kill me.
This thing looks pretty sweet alright.
