PDAJunkie.net has posted a review on the Stowaway IR Keyboard and since they have recently reviewed the Stowaway XT keyboard, the review focuses on the differences of the two. I personally have an IR keyboard and I couldn't be happier. One of the authors Cons of the product is that there is not any screen rotation software....he may not be aware of the upcoming release of WM2003 and the ability set the screen in landscape. Conclusion
All that being said, I am extremely pleased with this keyboard. It has the same key setup as the Stowaway XT, which is a keyboard layout made to succeed, in my opinion. It has a very sturdy design, both when folded up and when unfolded. The stand for the PDA is nice and allows for landscape and portrait use and the IR implementation is impeccable. Honestly, I can not think of any way to improve this keyboard. I know that may seem slightly strange for a review to not have any suggestions for improvement, and trust me, I am just as surprised as you are right now. The only suggestion I have is on the software side and that would be to bundle nyditot or some sort of landscaping software with this keyboard. That being said, this keyboard does what its supposed to do almost perfectly. All I have to say is keep the drivers coming and as long as the drivers are always functional and universal, this keyboard is bound to succeed. Pros:
IR implementation ingenious
Keys very usable and nearly full-sized
Keyboard folds up compactly for easy portability
Keyboard does not need flat surface
Can use PDA in portrait and landscape mode Cons:
No bundled screen rotation software

I am going to need some convincing on that virtual keyboard thingie
It just seems I need some sort of keyboard feedback before I can do very well with a keyboard.
The virtual keyboard is on hold. No one can find it.

Crap! I see the Mobile Planet link that you have says it's shipping 4/15...I was ready to order it.. but....I don't think my Toshiba e805 will work with it..
Virtual Keyboard
Compatible with Palm handhelds with Palm Universal Connector, iPAQ Pocket PCs h19/22/38/39/41/43/5000 series, Sony Clie handhelds, and desktop and laptop PCs. Unlike many small snap-on keyboards for PDAs, the Virtual Laser Keyboard provides a full-size QWERTY keyboard.

Apparently there is some piece of hardware that you need to connect to your PPC Connectivity: supplied USB/Serial PC/PDA Connector
Which is why the Ipaqs are only supported right now....

I don't see how touch typists can work with this keyboard. 90% of the "rhythm" touch typists work with is tactile. How does that work with nothing to hit?
And, how do you feel the little virtual "bumps" on the home keys? I think you will end up having to watch the keys all the time while typing.
I think it's a great idea but that it won't work for most people. But, I've been trying to get one to review so I will withhold judgement for a while.
Things to consider: can't be used outdoors. How will you prop up your PPC for viewing the screen while using it. No ergonomics.

What if I .....overlay my Stowaway Keyboard with the virtual Keyboard....that way I can get the Tactile feeling and.....I can prop up my PPC!
What do you think of that! 8)

What if the red laser in the Virtual Keyboard when combined with the InfraRed output of your PPC overloads the lithium battery in both the PPC and the VK and you disappear in a cloud of vapor like on Star Trek.
Yeah, that'd be cool. 8-) (Yellow)

How about you just use an old 50lb Royal typewriter. That's one of the first portable keyboard devices and it gets excellent battery life
