IpaqHQ has posted a review of the SDIO Connection Kit with Bluetooth Wireless Technology. If you're looking to add a Bluetooth connection to your PPC then give this a read. The SDIO Connection Kit with Bluetooth Wireless Technology features Socket’s new SDIO card and the Get Connected! Setup wizard. The software runs on any Pocket PC that has a Secure Digital (SD) I/O slot and is running BSQUARE Corporation’s SDIO Now! software. Closing Words All in all the device performed great. With the exception of LAN access on my home PC all connections were established with no problems. Pros: Small
Did not interfere with other devices such as X10 2.4ghz Camera
Installation was simple
ActiveSync connection was easy Cons:
Expensive

Doesn't the top of this device stick out of the slot? That would be bad.

Just read the complete review and the killer (for me):
Backup test over ActiveSync comparison between the Bluetooth card and WiFi:
WiFi: 4 minutes and 12% of the battery drained
BT: 26 minutes and 21% of the battery drained
Why I don't use BT very much.

I use it in emergencies. For example, last weekend my broadband connection was down at home. I was able to keep my laptop connected via Express Network and using BT on the e805 I could share the internet connection via ActiveSync.
Slow but better than no connection. I use the same method in client offices when I need to walk around with the PPC and still want to get email. Well, to be honest I don't walk very far.

I look at BT as needing a "sidekick" device like a cell phone in order to see the power of it. it's too slow for surfing and file transfers. Even streaming music is near impossible.
However, connect it with a BT phone and check your email from the passenger seat of a car speeding along at 70 MPH? No problem! 8)
