Review of miniSync and Lil' Sync

Pyrogamer.com has posted a review on miniSync (Boxwave) and Lil' Sync (PPC Techs).
I gave up the cradle almost immediatly due to all of the traveling that I do. I do not want to lug around a bulky cradle when all I need is a cable to connect my Ipaq to my USB port. I have a no name brand of cable but the two cables reviewed here have a nice feature of the retractable cable. (I currently use twist ties from a bread bag to keep all the slack under control....I'm so frugal ...err uh...cheap!) :P
Do you use the cradle or did you purchase a cable?
Retractable sync cables have become very popular in the PocketPC market. These tiny devices can sync and charge your PDA through a USB port. There are a large number of companies making them...making you wonder; what is the difference?
Conclusion:
Both cables get their jobs done. They sync and charged my Axim X3i perfectly. If you can’t decide between the miniSync and the Lil' Sync, I would say go with the Lil' Sync due to its instructions and wider range of accessories; but other than that these cables are exactly the same. They are a great addition to any PocketPC user.
Ratings :
BoxWave's miniSync: 4 Stars
PPCTech's Lil' Sync: 4.5 Stars

I like the retractable sync cables. Someone once asked me after I reviewed one if I really thought it would last beyond 2 weeks because his broke into half a dozen pieces. Well, that was about a year ago and mine is still syncing and retracting like a champ! Mine's the styrite model if you were wondering.
