Pharos a Triple-Award-Winner at the 2004 International CES

What is your GPS add-on of choice? I don't use GPS myself because I never go anywhere (Feel sorry for me )

Pharos Science & Applications Inc., has earned triple Innovations Awards recognition at the prestigious 2004 International Consumer Electronics Show. Hosted annually by the Consumer Electronics Association, the 2004 International CES is the world's largest annual consumer technology tradeshow.
Pharos received awards in the Computer Hardware, Mobile Electronics and Software/Embedded Technologies categories. Its Ostia Smart Navigator(TM) software - the Internet's only location and navigation service incorporating GPS positioning with real-time traffic information and dynamic points-of-interest lookup - was honored with CES's ultimate accolade, the "Best of Innovations Award". Awards were judged on user value, aesthetics, contributions to the quality of life, and innovative design and qualities.
"Our Ostia Smart Navigator and our Pocket GPS Navigator(TM) with iGPS-360 GPS receiver bring vital location-based information and navigation services to people on the go. It is indeed gratifying to have our design and development work recognized by our peers in the consumer electronics industry," said Pharos President James Oyang, Ph.D.

I have the Pharos GPS (older version) serial connection with the latest release of their software. I am actually looking for better software... their latest version has lots of nice bells and whistles (live traffic, pocket outlook integration) but lacks some core features.
1st it does not show your speed and does not seem to adjust to speed. It often tells you to turn when you past the turn... next the LA area maps are real bad, example 101 carpool lanes it shows as off route.
I am trying out other software, but as a theory I love using my IPAQ for GPS.

Interesting

Interesting, so how much did the "whole" package cost to have GPS? (excluding Ipaq) -- software, Car mount?
In other words, how much do I need to spend to have GPS running with my Ipaq?
