IPAQ 3970 - SD card problem

Hey i just bought a 2 gb sd card "cube memory - dane elec" for my PPC but when i slap it in the PPC it asks me if i want to format the sd card

If i click yes it says: "An error occured while formatting the Starage Card folder (error code 31)

If i click no it won't accept it and i cant see it anywhere...

So i need a little help to make it work, here is a few things i already tried:

Formatting it on the pc
Placing files on it
A few softwares to repair it

So you don't need to suggest those, please help...
