need a little help with ppc 6700

I have have this unit for over a year now and every now and then when I used a headset (an analog one pluged into th ebottom of the unit) it would "get stuck in headset mode" after the headset was unplugged.

All I had to do in this case would be to plug the headset BACK in and and pull it BACK out and that fixed the issue.

this last time the same problem happend and I can't get this darn unit off headset mode so I have no sound I can't hear calls unless I use a headset with it.

I don't want to go to sprint because this unit is no longer made and they will replace it with a unit I don't want.

I tried restarting (soft and hard) taking out the battery over night, speaker phone ect PLEASE its driving me nuts any ideas?

Thanks

You just have to keep doing what you were doing before that is to plug the headset back in and remove it. Do it with an MP3 playing so that you know when the audio has been redirected. Wiggle the jack a bit might help as well.

Soft/Hard resets will not help because the problem is not software-based.
