I have an HP 2795 and here's the problem. I kept shutting down on me so I initially thought the battery had gone bad. I got a new one and for a while it was okay. Now it does the same thing again.
What happens is...... if you have the unit with the battery out (same with either battery) and you replace the battery, the reset screen comes on. The advancing bar gets to about 20% across the screen then the unit shuts down. You cannot turn it back on.
Also....... the little time that the unit it on, the charging light blinks. Once the unit shuts off, the flashing charge light goes off as well.
I don't know whether to junk the unit or send it in for repairs.
