most pocketpc have very crappy cam. Although it has a great resolution on the MP, but the lens are crappy... that's why only some pictures turn out well and most turns crappy.

I second that. No matter how much tweak or change you do to your camera and pocket pc, you will not get great images unlike with a digital camera.

Well at the moment, you could try to tweak it to make it look better but I am not sure how much improvement that will bring.

well, if you want a good lens for your camera, I'd guess that if you were to get Nokia N95 or something similar, it might be better lens.

Those are Carl Zeiss, which is a real camera lens company and has been around for almost a century. But that's like buying a good phone and good camera but you just get one device (it costs like 700) and it's not even a pocket PC

I hear the best camera phones out there are the SonyEricsson ones. Even the N95 by Nokia at 5mp can't beat a 3mp SE. That's what I heard though. Anyone care to share experience?

If you do go through with them, you're giving up the Pocket PC stand point... so I guess it's still going to be a big trade off

Yeah it sure is. Is there any Pocket PC with a great camera? I don't think I have though but then again, I do not know all models.
