I can't decide what to get to replace my HP iPaq 2210. I need something which is responsive (I have heard that some WM5 & 6 devices can be a touch unresponsive but I still want to go with WM6 rather than Symbian or Palm).
I need a device with fast HSDPA, 802.11g Wifi, Music playback (via TCPMP), Bluetooth, GPS and the ability to edit mobile Excel and Word docs (a camera would be nice but is not essential). Decent storage potential (e.g. the ability to read 8GB+ cards would be nice) would be a bonus. I did quite like the look of O2's forthcoming repackaged HTC Touch Cruise but I have heard that it suffers from slow redraws as do many of HTC's devices based on the Qualcomm chipset though I'm not sure how badly the problem cripples the devices.
Does anyone have a good recommendation? Thanks in advance,
Awoken

Well the Eten Glofiish X800 seems to fit the bill though you might need to do a bit of tweaking to get it to work really smooth (because it comes pre-loaded with so much applications that just slows it down).

The E-Ten X800 looks good but why would suck a top device be hobbled by such a tiny RAM allowance, 64MB isn't much without being really choosy about what you run on your homepage. I like to have a lot on the homepage - news, weather, tabbed pages of links etc and this would probably make the X800 grind to a halt (or so web reviews indicate).
Is there anything coming out like the Tytn 2/Kaiser/Touch Cruise with the same features but including video acceleration?
I considered Symbian (Nokia N95 8GB) but I keep a lot of mobile office docs on my ppc at the moment and modify them on the move using an iGo Ultra portable keyboard, Symbian wouldn't allow me to edit them.

I am not sure about the performance myself but there is a page pool tool out there for Eten devices where you can increase. Granted it's not much but it's worth a shot.
If you are looking for something to be released, you could wait for the V900. It's got a 677MHz processor and 128MB RAM, more than enough for your requirements I believe.

I might be kinda late to the discussion, but to give you my insight. I have the HTC Touch (Sprint version) and like it said, the video is slow and when I touch the screen, the phone slows down. If you don't mind lags here and there, I think Touch Cruise will be fun.
The thing is, as much money as you spend on the Touch Cruise, I'd imagine it'd be working better to worth the money.
I was babbling that since HTC is having some drivers problem and it effects the Touch Cruise. I wish the device will work better than what it is (because it's effected) since you have to pay quite a lot of money for it.
