I can get the Tilt for $149 refurbished from at&t through my works premier account. Is this a good enough deal to risk the refurb and the shortened warranty? These are the first refurbs of the tilt that I've seen posted. Is there any risk in that? It'd be my first ppc and figure why not start right. I'm mostly interested in the software features and Wi-Fi. I'm not a heavy net user but if the Wi-Fi is there then the option would be great. I also play lots of mame roms and would love a phone that I could load games onto as well.
No extras, I was able to get it because of a glitch in there system they for some reason have my personal acount setup as a business acount. This deal is only avalible with business acounts
exactly my thoughts. I had T-Mobile Wings before and now I have the Sprint Touch, the Wing was slow but supposedly the Touch should be much of an improvement to me.
To me, it is an improvement, but it's not extremely faster, but I was just happy enough about it. I wouldn't even know about the problem until I saw it couple of weeks ago. I could've gone through my life without knowing it
yeah, but I'm more forgiving than others, or that's what I'd like to believe.
I'm not one of those people who pay money to buy devices and expect them to work perfectly forever. I work in tech field and enough to know that it's never going to work perfectly unless you tweak it or maintain it like crazy. So it was slow, but it didn't turn me off and turned me away from WinMo 6 right away.
Hopefully my next phone (whatever that comes out) will give me better experiences)
But if you pay money, and especially a lot in this case, you would expect a high level of performance for some time at least right?
I too agree that electronics will never function perfectly all the way but if I got a HTC and found out it doesn't work the way it should, then I would be pretty pissed.
I wonder from which model HTC will fix this video driver issue.

Got it and I love it. I'm looking for some good games now...I'd like Tiger Woods Golf but I got rid of it when I wiped out the att bloat software. It came as a demo and now it's not available because of compatability issues on the att game site. Why would it be pre installed but then not available. I assume I should be able to buy it elsewhere as long as it's a QVGA version, right? I really don't know yet. I might try out the NES emulator and forget the golf game, I also need a good poker game.
