I currently have a Blackjack (AT&T) but have wanted a PPC for a while now. I really like the Tilt but I wonder if its too much phone for me. I also like the Touch but don't know if I want to switch to Sprint for it...
So I need your help
Are there any concerns about the carriers in question?
Also are there any important limitations on the phones I should take into consideration?
u can pick up an 8525 4 less than $300 on ebay and dont have to wry bout the contract through AT&T
just my 2 cents
i still dont have a tilt not much of an upgrade to justify the cost, im waiting 4 the m800

And yeah im kinda an addict when it comes to these things. i have a couple of 8525s and a few 8125s im gona sell ill keep 1 8525 and get rid of my 8125s for an m800 i was hoping it would have more ram but apparently u cant have it all.

what is so special about the m800? i just googled it and it looks like a phone from the mid 90s with no color screen? i could be wrong though or looking at the wrong phone
Ok wow it was just my opinion didnt know there were so many tilt followers, yes a good phone but so is the m800 it is just a preferance they both have there downfalls like any phone. Oh yeah these are ppc not smartphones a smart phone is like the Blackjack or iPhone. If it runs a full version of windows then its a ppc.
Ok tilt best phone no sry maybe here in America were we're about two years behind everyone else, then yeah ok I hate contracts and havent had one in years so price isnt that big of an issue when it comes to true addiction price is a consern second to quality.
Ok HTC great phones love them AT$T carries them so makes them more available and cheaper. I have around 10 HTC's and have had one since the 2125 but always have to caiter to AT$T so they drop some functionalbity compaired to overseas HTC products.
Ok why I like the M800 more than the Tilt, well first ETEN has made better phones than HTC for along time now better display, better hardware but until now a great phone with a full qwerty was amiss.
Ok to the point M800 better than Tilt so far why imo
VGA display meaning more can fit on a smaller screen same screen size but VGA not QVGA
500mhz processor apossed to a 400mhz processor!!!
Better gps chip
Seperate 2.5mm for audio!!!!
Ok downfall just to be fair
64mb ram opossed to 128mb
2mp camera instead of 3mp
And for those of you conserned yes price is more but you get what you pay for right.
Ok well ponder for a while on this but the m800 is not for the novice price will keep most away.
Tilt might be the best all around ppc as far as price, function, and availablity.
Other phones I wish I had and if I could afford would have.
O2 Flame great size VGA display, video out, seperate video processor among other features downside still no wm6 support and no qwerty.
