Although the new HTC Touch II looks cool, but it has less advertised features than the AT&T Tilt HTC model which has GPS and 3mp camera. The screen on the HTC touch reminds of the Iphone but not as nice as the real thing. Hope to hear other opinions about.
Um there really is no comparison. I mean they are two different phones in all aspects. The touch has a much smaller processor, no qwerty, ram and rom are no comparison.
Ok touch is a cool phone but will not do a fourth of what the tilt can do. If you have the money get the tilt. If you like small phones and just need to surf the net and check email get the touch.

I was referring to HTC Touch II (DUAL) Processor Qualcomm® MSM 7200, 400MHz Memory ROM: 256MB ; RAM: 128MB SDRAM Keyboard or Keypad Slide-out 20-key QWERTY keyboard
Slide-out 16-key keypad (Subject to the HTC Touch DUAL model you have)
Im sry I thought the only difference was the slide keypad. Well it looks cool and now seems to be up to speed with todays tech as the first one is not nor is the wing. It looks cool Im big into the full slide qwerty as I post on forums from my ppc and answer many many emails but if your looking for a cool ppc this is it.

I've had the Touch for almost two weeks now, so I can give some opinions. My phone is thru Sprint, and I know that Sprint increased the processor and memory. I don't know the exact specs, I just know it is fast and has a lot more space than my Ipaq.
No, it doesn't have a qwerty slide; however, Sprint added a touch keyboard with the qwerty layout which pulls up right on the screen. Most buttons have two letters attached, and you also have the option of using the dialpad keyboard if you prefer that layout. Since I don't like the size or thickness of phones with slide qwerty (or the like), I am happy with this option.
My touch is GPS enabled, and of course has the camera/video. I haven't seen the iphone up close and personal, so I can't compare the two. I can say that the Touch is a whole PDA with a phone. I have all my skins and programs that were on my Ipaq and they are working fine.
All in all, I am really glad I went ahead and got the Touch. I didn't see it til it arrived at my house, and I was a little nervous about buying sight unseen. Once it arrived and I started playing with it, I can't be more pleased with my purchase.
ETA: The Touch is a WM pocket pc phone, and I believe that Tilt is a smartphone.

Also, though the Tilt does have GPS, I don't believe the Sprint Touch has it...
I'm trying to decide which I should get as well. The Tilt is the Cadillac of PPC's while the Touch is more compact. That's what I'm trying to decide on...whether or not the Tilt is too much phone for me...

pocket pc, smartphone, windows mobile device, whatever u want to call it they are all the same thing...
I love noobs with opinions drink a few brews and read the forum keeps me entertained so much.
Where to start Idk
Ok first off Tilt imho way better than iphone or touch II because its a ppc and it has a full qwerty
Ok sprint doesnt have a touch II sry and touch I sucks imho its a nice weekend phone I guess or a wana be ppc better than the iphone though. I might be wrong it happens sometimes but I dont think they have the touch II. Touch I 200mhz processor 128 64
Ok yes big difference between a smartphone and a ppc.
PPC's run a full version of wm unlike a smartphone or a iphone. A Blackjack or Dash these phones run wm smartphone os.
Ok iphones great for video and music thats it. Slow internet 2.5g no business function I guess email but thats it. You cant view pdf, word docs, download attachments, NO A2DP!!!! and its suppose to be a music phone!!!! 3rd party software is very limited, no qwerty, requires two hands, no removable battery sry if you have to fly, cant teather slow even if you could, absolutely useless as a work device. Well my sis has one and she likes it. Totally a girl phone sort of like a miata. I mean its a fast sports car but my gf drives one sry miata fans, get a real sports car.
Well this is my opinion of the iphone, I might hurt someones feelings but this is a ppc forum not a iphone forum.

You knw if you can afford it, its always best to buy the most tech you can afford at the time. Meaning if you think its to much ppc its better to buy that then something you will want to upgrade in a few months. Yes the touch is sleek nice weekend phone but I would go with the tilt if you could afford it.
One more thing sprint is cdma not gsm and imo gsm is better I like sim cards and the ability to change service providers without changing devices. Although Sprint does have a faster Internet service in more areas. Big thing is that cdma sucks or I would be with Sprint.

Probably alot my guess at first would be around $800 and after a few months a few will make it over here but its price will not be that much cheaper. Look at it at my pov I dont carry a contract so the Tilt is really like $600 so the Eten is not that much more expensive.
