Cingular 8525 Printing?

I run a sign shop for a living and have my sign quoting software as an excel file, as well as my invoices. You'd be surprised how many people catch me out, and ask for pricing. I like to give them info on the spot, but it's generally hard.

My goal is the following.

Have my files on my 8525 and when hit up for a quote, I can open pocket excel, run the quote, and have some sort of battery operated small printer to print the quote out and have them be required to bring it with them if they come in my shop to get the sign work done.

Also, since most of my work it pay at pick up or delivery, it is a pain to have to print out a copy of the invoice, drag it along, etc. I wish to be able to print the invoice out on the spot after receiving payment, and input check numbers, etc and give them a printout of the excel file as a receipt. Even do such in my shop as well.

My problem is, I have tried to research on google and various pocket pc forums and haven't had much luck.

I used to have a sipix back in the day, but not sure if it is compatible with this newer windows mobile.

I know there are various mobile battery operated IrDa printers out there, and a simple thermal black and white like the sipix would be perfect.

Some printers I seen have drivers for pocket pc. But I can't determine if they require a hot sync to print through your desktop.

I truly want a mobile, 2 device setup. Sorta like the schwan's man. Inputs the order, goes gets it, then beams the file to a small thermal printer on his visor to print a receipt.

Basically what I am looking to accomplish.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
