I'm the new kid here, so please bear with me. I have never been part of a forum. I own an 8125 Cingular/ATT pocket pc phone. Other than it being difficult to make calls with it while driving because of the hard to use touch screen numbers, and the camera that takes a photo after the subject is gone, I like it. I don't have but one third party software on it and about 500 names from my laptop's Outlook synced to it. My question; Is it normal for it to be so slow? I mean when I open up another program or try to navigate to something else it is incredibly slow. Sometimes I just do a reset. Any suggestions?

It depends upon what you mean by slow. I have an 8125 and I have a lot of third party stuff on it. I am not sure how many contacts I have, but it probably approaches 500. When I hit the soft key for contacts it takes perhaps 2-3" for contacts to start and to load. Takes 2" for IE to load. To me those times are not bad. How do they compare to what you are seeing?
The 8125 has pretty good battery life because it has a slower processor. You can get overclocking programs that will give you a little more pep. Soft resetting on occasion is a good thing. I also use a task manager so that when I close a program, it is really closed.
