sync problems

I just bought a hp ipaq 3955 and every time I sync it with my computer it looses an hour on the clock which changes my calender and if I fix it on the pda and re-sync it it messes my calender up on my computer. Any ideas?

Check that both your device and your host PC are set to the same time zone. If they are, then check the time setting within your desktop Outlook. A time zone mismatch is usually the cause of this sort of reset activity since ActiveSync makes the needed adjustments to correct for differing time zones on devices.
