Looking to buy

Hello all. This is my first post on these forums and would like to say hello aswell as create this topic. What I'm looking to buy is a pocket pc thats not to fancy but can do these tasks:

Email
Msn Live
Mircosoft Office
Wlan
Wan
All phone functions (calls, sms, video player, etc)

I know it's not that specific but I'm open to any recommendations or anything to help me really guide my choice.

Thanks

Well any decent ppc will do all above mentiond things. What service provider do you have, are you on a gsm network or a crappy cdma network as if you are on a cdma this will greatly hinder what is available to you.

What is your price range, what size or style are you looking for.

Check out this site it has a great phone finder and you can add all your requirements and see you results.
GSMArena.com - GSM reviews, opinions, votes, manuals, ringtones and more...

here is a basic search of what your requirements are and a list of what I think are good ppc's.

or if your look for something real basic for a good price check this out

Gsm. As for price range, if I think it's worth the price it doesn't bother me that much. Just trying to keep it relatively low. Size? Small? Thanks for the sites.

Well Im a big HTC fan I would suggest something from them

If price is an issue I would suggest the 8125 aka wizard it features a full qwerty and full version of wm5
i-mate K-JAM - Full phone specifications

If price isnt an issue a great little smart phone is the HTC S710 aka vox it is small and still includes a full qwerty keyboard great for emails and text also runs wm6 right out of box
HTC S710 - Full phone specifications

If your looking for something that will last you years and runs a full version of windows I would suggest the 8525 aka heremes
HTC TyTN - Full phone specifications

Also O2 makes some great devices
All O2 phones

Although if your not needing a full qwerty I would suggest the HTC touch its still a little pricey but nice small great design and has touchflo built in.
HTC Touch - Full phone specifications

If you dont know what touchflo is check this out
YouTube - HTC Touch hands on

The guy is obviously not a windows fan but its a good device

Dead on advice nate. I have the 8525 currently and I am VERY pleased with it. I am dying to try Touchflo for myself.

BTW-Is anyone on XDA cooking up some touchflow for other devices? It looks interesting.

That would be great. So, is it an application that makes it work by finger touch? I thought it was only certain screens and their physical makeup that enabled finger sensitive results.

Heres the thread I started for touchflo on 8525 its a little different than what you are use to seeing, but it does use actual touchflo not buttonflo.
Also it uses a overscreen this is beta so keep an eye open for updates as I will try to stay ontop of it.
