xda exec versus holox bluetooth gps

Has anyone managed to get these two devices to speak to each other....I am unable to do so.
The gps device shows up on the xda as device bt-441, but I am unable to find a bluetooth port to make a connection.
I want to use it with tom tom software on my xda

Any advice appreciated

John

Instead of pairing the device thought the commanager, Install the tomtom software, after you go through the setup and have maps and voices installed you should be prompted to pick what device you want to use to recieve gps select bluetooth and then follow the directions this should solve your issue.

Its also called the universal I would go to xda developers if I were you.
xda-developers - Powered by vBulletin

Universal Mobile 6 - xda-developers

Make sure you read everything 3 or 4 times before installing it till you get use to it. If you have a question ask. Much luck cool phone.

Thanks for that.........I have browsed the files, but dont fancy my luck messing with tom tom , as it came pre-installed on the xda.....

I am facinated by the XDA and as I am a storm chaser, it would suite me 100% for use out on a hill somewhere.

Is there any other way around the gps problem.....

Thanks
John

look in settings> system> remove software and see if its avialble to be removed, if so let me know and since you have legally obtained tomtom since its on your phone from factory pm me and I will send it to you. Then you can go about setting it up from there.

Does anyone have a way around this problem with the XDA.
I have checked the bluetooth device on my xp pro pc and it works 100% running gpstest software.

I was looking at removing tom tom and trying something else.

cheers
John
