Question slow after hard-reset!!

hi all

2 days ago, i bought the new O2 xda FLAME.

few hours ago i did a hard-reset, the problem is the device is really slow now, i have no idea why is it so slow like that.

before the hard-reset it was fast like a rocket, as a matter of fact, if you check the device specs on O2 you'll see its really fast.

why did it become so slow now?

any help would be appreciated

PS: at the momment i have no apps/games installed and no memory card attached!

ok yes definately a cool phone nice sized screen and a built in gpu and 128 ram omg yes nice u should have included a better link imo O2 Xda Flame - Features

ok first things first why did you hard reset? was there an issue you were having if so are you sure u performed a full hard reset or maybe just a soft reset, are you running any aps that could be affecting the speed, also how much ram do you have open is this running wm5 or wm6 are you using any performance aps?

ok this might sound weird but i doubt it will hurt anything, be nice if you let everyone know what app it was so no repeat as well. try reinstalling the app and let it run, then reinstall it agian it will say it will need to remove previous ver. let it remove it then imediatly after it removes it do a soft reset. now i say try this because its not unusual for the hard reset to leave some parts of software and even some information behind. after doing the soft reset if all is not well try another hard reset. now if you actually corupted the rom neither of these will help and you will need to get a new rom. i would suggest a shipped rom maybe tmobile. let me know if this solves the issue. also on a side note what is your over all thought on the phone, size, battery life, usability, i have had ppc w/o a keyboard but since the 8125, 8525 i couldnt imagine living w/o one. does it support a 8gb thumb drive? what is the tv out res.
thanx
nate

its all good i did another hard reset, and installed Tweaks2k2 .NET and made some changes to the Registry.. the device is back to its original shape now, though i did a last hard reset, and everything went back to normal "factory goodness"

bro... the FLAME is an AWESOME device, i have never used a similar device to it.. it is super in so many fields, starting with the speed and ending with the freakin high resolution in movies and pics, not to mention the AWESOME sound it produces when playing mp3s, either using the speakers or the headphones. using the headphones will take you into another dimension "screw ipods and mp3 players. this FLAME rocks".

battery usage is cool. i wonder why 90% of the ppl on the internet says the battery drains out pretty quick, for myself, im a heavy ppc user, i play music/vids/pics and use it around the clock, i only charge it after 1 day and a half tops. which is still good.

i never liked ppc's with keyboards, but i assure you this, if u decide to buy one, you will ignore the built-in keyboards

in one word.. GODLIKE
