at&t 8525 backlight sensor not working

Hi everyone, I'm new to this community so forgive me if this question has been asked before. I just purchased the at&t 8525 smartphone and noticed that my keyboard doesn't light up when I'm in the dark unless I press a key first. I checked the settings to make sure that my backlight sensor was toggled on. Am I missing something? Also does anyone know how I can watch videos from youtube on my phone, everytime I try to dwonload a flash player it brings me back to the same page to download it. It's kinda frustrating that I can't look at all the sites that I'm used to. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi there,

It is the default setting for the keyboard to not light up until you press a key to preserve battery power as much as possible.

As to YouTube you need to go to http://m.youtube.com which is the mobile version. Be aware though that it is STRONGLY recommended you are on an unlimited data plan otherwise it is going to cost you a packet to do this!
