xda II not working with bluetooth hands free

Hi,
I have an o2 xda II that will not work with a cark 112 bluetooth hands free car kit.
the xda detects the car kit, and connects with it ok, but there is no sound through the car system when the xda rings and you cannot answer the phone call via the hands free kit?

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

jt9d.

If this is the Nokia CARK 112 kit, which I think you are talking about then I am afraid you may have a no go on it. This is because early BT car kits from specific manufacturers were made so they only worked with thier phones. In fact the 112 won't even work with later Nokia phones due to changes in the BT profiles. Look at Parrot BT car kits which are genreic and work pretty well with nearly all BT phones.
