The king of ROM's for the Wizard (K-Jam, 8125, etc) is Faria. If you look for his ROM kitchen you can find his latest version of the ROM. Make sure you know what you are doing and that your device is CID unlocked as well before you try it otherwise you are going to have an expensive paperweight if it doesn't go right.
Dr P. and Molinski also have tutorials on the site about it. Read the Wiki first also before asking questions as most questions have already been answered hundreds of times and you will be flamed if you haven't researched first.
I am running Faria's V5.0 and the speed of my device is great now. Just make sure you don't whinge if it doesn't go right. Make sure it's done right first time, or there may not be a second.

heavy paperweight = not worth trying....i know a decent amount about computers and ppcs, but nothing worth wasting my 400 bucks over. ill just put the iphone theme on here and be happy with it...not the one from here tho too many complaints...know where i could get the best one from by any chance?
acoustics the warnings are to make sure that no steps are skipped. If you have some good knowledge about the ppc and installing ROM's you won't have any dramas if you follow the steps and read up on the comments before you install.
I waited for a little time and was happy with the results after doing a bit of research, but there is a registry edit for the 8525 that really speeds it up if that's what you're after. Friend of mine installed it and nothing could touch his device for speed, and didn't effect processor speeds at all so no threat to the device. His was for work and the boss couldn't understand why one was so quick compared to the other.
This registry edit was also from xda-developers site. Just don't use anything for the Wizard (8125) as it is not designed for your device if you weren't aware.
