Hi !
I am quite new to the pockepc business and have decided on acquiring one of these models.
I do not need the GPS feature, and intent to use the device in my clinic.
However, I am a bit confused as for the specifications of hp rx4240 and hx2490.
It seems to me that hx2490 has much better specifications although it was released more than 2 years ago. It is also much more expensive.
I am a bit hesitant on buying a device which had been in the market for over 2 years. I do not know however, if my impression as for the performance of these two models was accurate.
Could anyone help me elaborate these matters ?
Thanks you very much,
Bootstlv
The RX has a 400Mhz processor and 128Mb ROM and 64Mb RAM, HX has 520Mhz processor and 192Mb ROM and 64Mb RAM. The RX is also designed more as what they call a "lifestyle" device, where as the HX is more business style. The other thing about the HX is it has a compact flash slot which might be of use for you?
