Paring 8525 with headset

I've got a Motorola headset I've been using with my Razr. I just got a new Cingular 8525 and want to use my headset with it. For some reason when I search for the headset from the phone it's not finding it. Does anyone have any ideas as to why I can't find the headset?

I have a motorola H850 headet and it paired right up with my new 8525.

I would figure out which headset you have and get the pairing instructions from the motorola website.

For me, it's making sure the arm bar is closed and holding the main button on the front until the light turns purple. Open up the bluetooth connectio on the phone and search for a new device. It should pop up on the screen as long as that light on the headset is blinking purple.

Yeah, I found it. I didn't hold the button long enough for the light to come on solid; I was just turning the thing on. Guess it had been too long since I've done that.

Thanks!
