Need for Speed !!

Hello PPC world,

I have a 8125 and i feel its kinda slow, so I was wondering what is the best way to make it faster. Any suggestions are welcome; programs, mods, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Heard somewhere that you can stop the extra "stuff" from the mobile provider being loaded by doing a hard reset and then then when it says something like "will install extended ROM in....." do a soft reset. This means the phone is as HTC programmed it and not loaded with supplier skins and apps, something I HATE Orange doing in the UK.

As always, remember a hard reset will WIPE your device of all your information and apps you have added, so backup first!

Not really a mod but the most obvious thing to do is offload as much as you can to a memory card. Not an owner of and 8125, but sure someone here who is can help.

I have the feeling every ppc-processor has some programs available (via google for example) for overclocking your device. In my experience, adding 20% isn't a very big problem. My HTC with a 200Mhz processor doesn't seem to have any problems making 247Mhz

Memory can vary greatly in price, the price is dependent on the capacity of the memory, the more Megabytes or Gigabytes of storage the memory has, the more expensive it will be to purchase. The price of memory will also be affected by the speed of the memory; faster speeds will mean higher prices, faster speeds equals better performance. That is why you need the CleanMemory program which was made for one purpose ie to save you money.Memory Clean runs quietly behind the scenes and Your computer will respond faster than ever even if you have many applications are running.
