Use S-K-Tools lite to clean up your device. Most likely, your device has a lot of temp files that needs to be deleted.

If you have a backup of your device; contacts and so on you may think about doing a hard reset and seeing what memory it reports as free then. If still low it is possible there is an issue with either the ROM or the RAM on the device and if in warranty able to get it replaced?

Be aware though a hard reset COMPLETELY resets your device to how it would have been out of the box!

You can use ActiveSync to sync with the contacts list of desktop Outlook, or you can use an app like PIM Backup (freeware available on most freeware sites). PIM Backup is distributed as a single WM .exe file that can be run from a memory card and allows backup and restore of several of the PIM databases. The backup file can also be directed to a memory card.

Are you sure your RAM is not being used by unclosed apps? Check Settings..System..Memory..Running Programs.

Hi again,

In a nutshell download the latest version of Activesync for your OS and install then connect your device and select what you want to sync. You can also explore the device and copy off any pictures or video content before hard resetting. Let us know how you get on.

vista does not support activesync. i ended up buying a 1gb memory card and using the pim backup on that. then after i hard reseted it i intalled a program called pocketmechanic and in my opinion that is a must have tool for anyone with a ppc.

Hi once more,

The new "Activesync" for Vista is called Windows Mobile Device Centre and is available from here:

Synchronizing Windows Mobile with Vista – Windows Mobile Device Center

By the way, you didn't say whether doing the hard reset resolved your original problem?
