I live in hills where cellular coverage is erratic. Some days, usually in the p.m., I get disconnects after only 5 seconds. Isn't there an antenna I can use on bad coverage days: an antenna that plugs into the phone and has a connection long enough to allow the antenna itself to be placed for best reception? All I need is to increase connection strength from an occasional near-zero to a 2. I can't be the only person with this problem.
The 8525 does have a "standard" car antenna connection on the back above the self portrait mirror under a rubber bung. You should be able to rig up an antenna to this connection in theory? Let me know how you get on!
