Eh, just plug your phone into your computer then go to active sync and click explore phone or whatever. If you have a storage card (one you bought for the phone) then you have to open media device (or something) and open storage card and make a new folder called music.
Basically all you have to do is copy and paste the songs from your computer to your phone...
If you don't have a storage card then you just open the file explorer on active sync then go to my documents > Music | and paste the songs in there.
heh, hope this is what you wanted to do.

I just got this new phone and I have no idea how to import songs... please help!
Let me guess, you have an ipod. I hate what apple is trying to turn the american consumer into, the fact that you never even thought of copying and pasting (how all mp3s should be transfered) makes me sad.
i dont think that he meant it to be an insult towards you at all i think that he was showing his distaste for APPLE IPODS in general...
and also if you have a memory card reader, you can load the music on there a little faster than going though active sync, then when you want to play the music just go to media player on your phone and click menu and search device for new media, it will find what you have on your car and you can play it that way, it is faster for the transfer becuase you are not converting everything that goes into the phone which is a very pointless step for mp3's
i am willing to bet by the way that she god defensive i would say that she probably does own an ipod....if only it was that simple to load an ipod...i hate using itunes
oh, and anyone out there who wants the nice hardware of an ipod, with the interface of a device not meant for human-sheep hybrids, you can just reflash your ipod's firmware with an open source operating system called ROCKBOX. It makes your ipod do all the things it should already do, like play every audio format imaginable, eliminate the need for itunes, and most importantly, DRAG AND DROP file management. Your ipod will look like a regular hard drive when connected to your computer. And the player itself doesn't organize your music in the weird way that apple does (i hate that). Quick side note, when my roommate added my mp3's to his itunes library over the network, and it "ituned" all my music organizing it the way it wants, i wanted to kill my roomate and blow up apple. In the end i made him spend weeks renaming thousands of my music files, because no program could figure out how to undo more than a tiny bit of the damage.
