I'm having a few problems with my 8525 and I was wondering if other also had these problems. Sometimes my phone freezes and I have to reset it, and my library for my window media no longer updates and I have to choose songs individually to listen to. It also says none of my libraries were found. For my storage card it won't let me take files from it unless I connect my phone to the computer. When I try to add comments or send messages on myspace I always get an error from their website. And now I think my real player for conecting to video streaming dosent work. It always gets an erroe when try to connect. Does anyone else have these problems? or know how to fix them? Thanks
I had the same problem with needing to reset windows media. I called HTC and they said to delete the media folder and turn off the phone. This worked but was a pain.
I did the update to AT&T and have not had to do the deleting thing again yet.
uses0ap,
I have had a similar problem and here is what I did to fix my Windows Media Player:
Go to File Explorer then menu and show all files (hidden files).
In the location path, go to "device" then "application data\microsoft\media player", look for and then delete the "WMDRM" folder and the "WMPinfo.xml" file. Then go back to the location path "memory card" and delete "MSMETADATA" and "WMDRM" folders. Exit File Explorer. Then go the Windows Media Player and update your library.
I followed evq.003 instructions and the only thing I would add is to take out the memory card wait a few seconds then reinstal. Worked fine for me after that....still a pain.
