When you say you have cranked the volume all the way up, which volume are you refering to? There are two volumes for the 8125, one refers to the normal volume of the general functions on the phone, the other refers to the volume of your phone ringing.

Either use the slider on the side of your phone or tap the volume icon on your screen and you will see a drop down with two volume level indicators. The one on the left is for the general settings, the one of the right is the phone volume in 20% incriments between very low and loud. Try these settings and it should help hopefully.

No dramas - it doesn't hurt to ask a question every now and then.
