Cingular 8125 BIG PROBLEM

Hello all, i have been using my 8125 for 2 months and there has been no problems. But today, i pull the phone out of my holster and all of a sudden i could feel that the whole thing was really hot(keyboard area). The back light for the screen didn't turn on and the whole thing just shut off. When i got home i put in a different battery and put it on the charger. The phone would again turn really hot. i powered on the phone, but there was no backlight again.... ANyone have this problem and can help me please???

....later on i just decided i would hard reset it, but i picked up the phone and turned it on and it was working FINE!!!. isn't this really weird?

any help would be appreciated thanks!

Is it a third party charger?

First, back all of your files up, and if it happens again, or you feel insecure, send it in for repair/replacement.
