I recently recieved a casio casiopeia Em-500 and i have tried to install theme's for it and was wondering if it is possible to install themes on the OS. The OS is Microsoft Windows CE3.0, if it isn't at all possible to install themes, am i able to upgrade to a newer OS. this has sent me on the verge of insanity. if anyone can assist me in this problem that would be greatly appreciated.
I do not recall an upgrade to WM2003 from PPC2002 for any Casio devices. Hardly any makers upgraded their devices and those very few that did were devices using ARM processors.
You can find theme generator software that will create PPC2002 themes on your desktop PC that can then be copied to your device. Microsoft's Theme Generator 2002 is one such free app and it can be downloaded from the MS web site. Others can be found on sites like pocketpcfreewares.com or freewarepocketpc.net. Make sure you look for software to create PPC2002 themes as WM2003 themes will not be compatible with your device.
