hey iam looking to buy a new pocket pc smartphone. I was wondering what do u guys suggest is better. Iam leaning towards three right now and they are:
Cingular 8525, T-mobile mda, or sprints ppc-6700
Witch one do u guys thinks is the best choice ? i want the cingular because its new, but the thing is its expensive and i herd difficult to mess with. And my brother already have a ppc-6700 but i herd that was best one and the t-mobile is similar to the cingular and its nice. As for the cingular as my number one choice did anyone order one from amazon with a plan? Can i order one from amazon and go to my local cingular and get a plan over there ? becuz ordering online seems to much work to do. I dont think u can get a plan with all the internet and all that well if anyone have let me know thanx
Well, first of all, you waited 5 hours. Not everyone sits at their computers all day and waits for someone to post something so they can give a response.
Second, if the answer was necessary within 5 hours, there is a search function on the forums so you can, well, search for topics.
There's also google. Google is your friend, and can find you information, reviews, and comments on things such as any of the mentioned devices.
I've heard that ordering through amazon requires a new plan, and you must purchase another service for at least a month (I believe it's media net). That's at least what I've read, however.
If you would prefer cingular, you can get a refurb 8125 (same as t mobile mda, htc wizard, etc) for $79. It was previously $50, but for some reason has just recently increased in price.
I think I'll take that advice instead and see if I can't pick up a cheap 8125 to get a feel of what Windows Mobile phones are like Sounds like a more sound plan than purchasing a brand new phone only to find out that it isn't my cup of tea. Thanks!
