Hey Guys, this seems the best place to ask but I could be wrong...
I have the unlimited data package with tethering and I use it as my home net connection. I have no complaints with the speed or availability, but I have one iussue. Every time I disconnect I need to reboot the computer before I can connect again. Is that normal or do I have something configured wrong?
I assume that it was designed for a laptop mobile connection which generally gets rebooted often anyway, so it's possible that it is intentional but I find that a bit hard to believe.
Its funny because i have a simular issue. When i'm on my portable using WiFi and i connect my 8525 with Activesynch 4.5 i loose my WiFi (connection is lost and signal goes dead). The only way i can get it back is by rebooting my modem and router and PC.
What gives!!!
Surely we will get an answer from the pocketpcaddicts...
Such as not being able to burn CD/DVDs while teathered, CDs won't auto-load/-play while connected, etc. seemingly very odd things happen. is the usb modem such a RAM-hog? If so, what is enough to get past this? 2G RAM? 4G? I have 1G in right now.
