Memory Cards for your phone!!

Hey guys... If you're looking for a cheap price on memory for your phone, check out MemorySuppliers.com - 30 Days Money Back, Guaranteed Same Day Shipping, and Lifetime Warranty I just bought a 4GB miniSD for $59! wich is the same price that a 2 GB miniSD card costs anywhere else that you go. They also have memory for pc and laptops.

I'm looking to buy a miniSD card for my Cingular 8125, but I have received mixed posts stating that 4G ones don't work... I really would like to get the 4G instead of the 2G. My previous phone had the 4G and I'm spoiled. In that phone I had a 4G Pro Duo Memory Stick. I don't know if I should get the 4G and take my chances or just stick with the 2G... any advise??

Thanks

I have a Cinglar 8125 and I recently bought a 4gb mini-SD card for 42$ (after shipping) on ebay.. but they do go for as low as 20$ if you're there at the right time.

The 8125 DOES recognize my 4gb card so I think it would be ok for you

Yes, I forgot you had an 8525. They do take a Micro-SD which are significantly smaller than mini-SD

8525 - Micro

8125 - Mini

I dont know where you can get a 4gb micro though... I looked on Ebay.

I found lots of them on Ebay, I'm just worried if they will work... someone said somewhere that you just have to format it in your computer first. Here are two are EBAY here: eBay: 4GB MiniSD Memory Card 4G 4 GB G Mini SD 2 cards in 1 (item 250104803210 end time Apr-15-07 15:17:48 PDT)

eBay: TOPRAM 4G 4GB miniSD SD memory PDA Card for IPAQ 6945 + (item 140107760967 end time Apr-21-07 17:50:45 PDT)

Just don't know if I should bid or not...

I personally wouldn't trust no-name brands. Even if it has a supposed 5 year warranty. I'm even checking toprams site, and they don't even have a 4 GB minisd model listed. I've known of many fake memory cards (such as fake sony memory stick duos) failing.
Still, it is up to you to decide whether or not it's worth it to take the risk of saving a couple bucks now, and possibly having it fail on you later. It may never fail.

A quick amazon search came up with this
Just make sure that it will definitely work with the 8125, since people seem to have had some compatibility issues.

Here's an OEM one as well.

Please realize I'm not saying that you definitely shouldn't purchase from ebay, but just be careful with what you buy. Make sure the seller has a good reputation, and that the item has a legitimate warranty. A reputable brand name is also a big plus.

*edit*
I thought I'd also add in that in the first ebay auction you listed, the 4 is absolutely photoshopped. The topram one looks pretty legitimate. There's a picture of the actual product.

Which type of 4gb memory card that you purchased off of ebay? I have one and I had to format it and now my phone does not recognize it. Have you had to format that card at all? anyone?? can you help with this???
