I'm looking to buy a miniSD card for my Cingular 8125, but I have received mixed posts stating that 4G ones don't work... I really would like to get the 4G instead of the 2G. My previous phone had the 4G and I'm spoiled. In that phone I had a 4G Pro Duo Memory Stick. I don't know if I should get the 4G and take my chances or just stick with the 2G... any advise??
i have the 8525 and have the same question...although someone said that with a previous phone they trid a 4 gig and it only recognized 2 of them....so someone try this out please and let us know. if i could afford it id try it but i cant.
I have a Cinglar 8125 and I recently bought a 4gb mini-SD card for 42$ (after shipping) on ebay.. but they do go for as low as 20$ if you're there at the right time.
The 8125 DOES recognize my 4gb card so I think it would be ok for you

I personally wouldn't trust no-name brands. Even if it has a supposed 5 year warranty. I'm even checking toprams site, and they don't even have a 4 GB minisd model listed. I've known of many fake memory cards (such as fake sony memory stick duos) failing.
Still, it is up to you to decide whether or not it's worth it to take the risk of saving a couple bucks now, and possibly having it fail on you later. It may never fail.
Please realize I'm not saying that you definitely shouldn't purchase from ebay, but just be careful with what you buy. Make sure the seller has a good reputation, and that the item has a legitimate warranty. A reputable brand name is also a big plus.
*edit*
I thought I'd also add in that in the first ebay auction you listed, the 4 is absolutely photoshopped. The topram one looks pretty legitimate. There's a picture of the actual product.
