8125 playing MP3s on car stereo

Anybody know if there is an adapter for the cingular 8125 to allow it to play mp3's through the stereo like an ipod? That is other than an FM transmitter and a simple heaphone jack? Something that will allow stereo sound as well.

You have basically two options that I can think of. First, using the fm transmitter you mentioned with an adapter to make it 2.5mm.

Second, and best sound quality option would be to see if you cars head unit has aux inputs and use a rca (red and white plugs) to 3.5mm cable then convert it to 2.5mm.

Hopefully that helps.

Does your car stereo have a tape player? I use a tape adapter for my ipod and all you need to get is an adapter for the jack.

NvigR8,
This is working well for me for under $35.

BTW, the 11pin to 1/8th stereo jack converter ($15 + freight) connects my 8525 by cable to the 1/8th AUX jack in one of my cars. It works flawlessly.
