HELP!! - IPAQ Dead

When I tried to turn on my Ipaq (1915) this morning, and I get nada - no lights or anything, not even when I plug it in. Cany anyone suggest anything that might be done, or do I need a new PPC?

If it's dead, what should I look at as a replacement?

There are a couple of things you can try.

Do the soft reset combo for your device. If that doesn't work, try removing and re-inserting the main battery (be aware that this may trigger a hard reset). As a last resort, try a hard reset.

Hopefully one of these will bring your device back. A hard reset will return the device more or less to out-of-box condition memory-wise, so any data or apps in the main memory will be goe.

Unfortunately I've tried all of that and can't even get a light to flicker. I'm thinking the poor guy may be dead.

What's the life expectancy on a device like this, assuming daily use?
