Unhappy Large file transfer problems

I have a Garmin iQue M5 with a 2 gig SD card. I am trying to upload some divx to it and it only gets so far and quits. Usually to 64k but sometimes to 100mb or so. It will go all the way sometimes. Even if I load a lot of pictures it will not load them all.

I can't even put the card in my laptop! My laptop will not read any 2 gig card. I have a few. It says it needs formatted and tries to format them at 3.8 gigs.

I have tried this on my laptop that runs XP home. and active sync 4.2 I have tried it on my main pc that has XP pro 64 with active sync 4.2 and then 4.5. Nothing seems to work.

Anyone have any advice

You do need to do this type of thing without using ActiveSync, which has big issues with big files. Card Export is a good option, especially if you want to use your USB connection. If you have wifi capability, you could do an ad-hoc network. If you have bluetooth, you could try setting up PAN. You simply cannot do it through your AS conduit.
