Wink Cingular 8525, HTC TyTn Infant Mortality

Friends,

I suspect
This Very Cool
WinMob Tool

Is DEEP in the throes
Of Infant Mortality woes.

To wit:
I receive 1st 8525 in Colorado (USA), 17Nov2005.

It failed (screen tap inop) 29 days later.
Warrantied #2 Arrived 1 1/2 days later. Hooray Cingular!

It failed (lower key quadrant erratically inop) 32 days later. Warrantied #3 arrived 2 days later. Hooray Cingular!

Then, the BOX returned #2 carcass 18 days later.
"MOISTURE. WARANTY VOID, $497 (USD). YOU ARE SCREWED! (giggle)."

Phone calls, 1 1/2 hours, four drone levels of who can throw a pi** higher on a tree and Cingular caved, crediting $497 (USD). Um, that ain't no AttaBoy, Cingular, they're less'n $300 NEW UNLOCKED on eBay!

See, it ain't my 1st day at the Mobile Rodeo and I do NOT lie, cheat or steal, nor run with them that do!

WTF, over?
Well, friends, I think HTC has an enormous(?) problem.
But, that's just what I think. . .
Or, I'm just an unlucky man. . .

In reality, Cingular (now ATT&T) finally reacted in an adult fashion to an adult with an infant mortality problem. Hooray Cingular!

BUT, I fear this Play has more Acts to come. . .

Best,
PP
