Verizon XV6700

Hi all,
I have just recently purchased a Verizon XV6700. I am very happy with the phone, but wasn't so happy with the standard case it came with. After replacing the case and returning from the Verizon store, I noticed that while the case is closed, it is depressing the navigation button. I was wondering what effects that this could have in the long run, or if anyone else has noticed the same thing. I am currently planning to use the case in hopes that it will strech somewhat over time. Will this damage the phone, or am I babying my new phone too much?

Have the same phone, and wondering the same thing. Has anyone had problems with the navigation button wearing out?

When I bought my phone, I also got a belt carrying case, so I haven't had any problems with it. I do use the original case, when I want to keep the phone more secure in a pocket, but I haven't had any issues.
