question about saving stuff into memory...

I have a ipaq 3850 pocket 2002 and the only thing I use it for is appointments and contacts programs, now my question that really only applys to is contacts. Now when I input information into contacts what needs to be done if any to make sure that everything is saved even if the battery is completely dead or even removed?
Thanks...

I've never used version 2002 but one I'm pretty sure is that only WMd has got persistent storage which can help preserve data in case you loose power. I recommend that you acquire spb backup or sprite backup to preserve data. Now, you have to face another issue: Is there any version of these software for PPC2002?

I may be mistaken, but I think the backup app included with your iPAQ allows you to select to backup your PIM data only.
