Hello, I just purchased an 'Unlocked' Treo 750 to be used with our local service provider Unicel. I have purchased their data service and I am trying to connect to the internet via my new phone, but haven't had any luck. Here's what I've tried:
In 'Connections' I created a new connection and selected 'Cellular Line (GPRS, 3G)'. Then I entered the Access point name: apn.unicel.com
Unicel doesn't require a user name, password or domain name so these were left blank.
With these settings I receive the following message when I try to connect to the Internet Explorer Browser:
'Cannont Connect
Dialed: apn.unicel.com
No modem at above number. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap Settings.'
I've been around and around with Unicel trying to configure it correctly with no luck.
