I am new to this world of Pocket PC's so this question may be simple. I have an exteral RS-232 device I would like to connect to my PPC-6700. How would you recommend making this connection? My initial searches have led me to connecting serial plug into a Bluetooth device then connect the PPC to the bluetooth device. Does this make sense or should I do something else?
If I recall correctly, your card slot is MiniSD, which at this time rules out finding an adapter to give you the needed port there. So it does sound like you are going with the available option: wireless connection through another device.
Thanks. I am sort of shopping around for a device which will simply work and it so happens I am test driving this PPC-6700. Is there another device you would recommend that fits the bill?
Just an observation that a device with a CF (CompactFlash) II slot will have the largest selection of expansion cards, followed by standard SDIO. It might be possible to find a card in one of these formats that would let you connect directly through an added port, without involving a third device.
To get more specific, you would need to provide more info about your needs and the app you are intending to use to receive that scanned data.
