Mini SD set up on T-mobile MDA

I just got a 2 Gig mini SD for my T-mobile MDA. The sight where I got it, says it should be compatible, and having not use SD or Mini SD cards before thought that they were universal. My MDA does not recognize the card even though it is in.

Any suggestions? Should the MDA recognize it immediately or do I have to do something within Windows mobile to help it look for new hardware? Or perhaps are their different kinds of mini SD cards that only work on certain devices.

what brand is it? 2nd post recently where 2gb cards don't show up on the mda...

The company of the minisd is called qmemory. Here is a link to the sight where I bought it.

I entered the MDA into the site and this came up as compatible memory.

Because of the other problem with the Wifi radio I am getting a new MDA from T-Mobile. I am going to wait to see if that solves the problem here too.
