Wi Fi question for T-mobile MDA

Just got a T-mobile mda

My wi-fi had been working fine until today when it suddenly would not turn on. I try to turn it on in the comm manager and it acts like it is working on turning on, but then it does not turn on.

It has fallen lightly on the ground twice in the last couple of days, but neither was a hard fall from very high, and both were on carpet. Could there be a software problem or do you think it might be hardware? Have any of you heard of a hardware problem with the wi-fi on this product?

I do have insurance, so I could send it in, but I would rather not if it might just be a software problem that I could fix on my own.

Thanks for any help.

Tried soft & hard reset

I have tried soft reset, hard reset, banging it on the table (no not really, but I felt like it).

I also called T-mobile, and their techies couldn't figure it out either. They suggested it might be a bad radio, and I thought so too, so they are sending me a new MDA, because it is still under warrantee.

T-Mobile is pretty good with the replacements if you have insurance or its under warranty...

What I'm going to end up doing soon is disconnecting the automatic notification of whenever it finds a wifi router in its range....

Just activate the WiFi in comms manager and await the notification of network in range.
