Question iPAQ H3835 help needed with drivers and possibly os upgrade

I have an iPAQ h3835 as you could tell by the subject line. I recently purchased a PCMCIA jacket for my ipaq. I tried to install my wireless lan pcmcia card but i cannot figure out how to transfer the drivers over and what i need to do to get wifi to work. Any help would be grately appreciated.

Additionally, I was wondering if my os (pocketpc 2002 premium) could be upgraded to any new recent os?

I would really appreciate any help and/or guidence.
Thanks,
Josh

Did the PC card come with PocketPC drivers? If not, you should check the maker's site to see if any are available. You can then copy the files to your iPAQ or run the install over your ActiveSync connection. The files your PC uses for the card will not work on the iPAQ, though, so just copying Windows files will not work. What specific card are you trying to use?

I do not know if HP ever offered an OS update for your model, but it is long gone by now if they ever did. You should see if there is any info on their site. If they did make an upgrade at one time you may be able to find it on a site like eBay.

Good news: HP did release a WM2003 ROM upgrade for the 3835
Bad news: they no longer offer it on their site
Definitely check sites like eBay to see if someone is offering it.

Since drivers for a card will be different in most cases for WM2002 and WM2003, you might want to decide about OS version first.
