I just got the 8525 and I'm fairly new to WM5. Sorry for my ignorance, but how do I keep the phone from using the data phone connection to access the web and have it only use wifi to access the web? I primarily use wifi to access the web but sometimes I may not have wifi access and I don't want to incur any data usage fees accidentally. Thanks for your help.
I wish I knew as well. I've tried a number of suggestions from other forums for earlier versions of the 8525, but nothing seems to work. I have removed all my settings within WM5,but somehow the phone finds a way to connect through Cingular's data network rather than WiFi.
Regarding BrainC's suggestion I did search this forum and found Restie's post, but have not found any other with the right answer yet.
