8525 Bluetooth Ear Piece

I wanted to ask and see what bluetooth ear piece everyone uses and figure out the pro's and con's before I invest some $$ into a new one...?

Any recommendations? Any I should avoid?

Thanks

plantronic discovery 640 works just fine. extreamly light, voice dial, good batt & sound. the 640 is bluetooth v 1.2 while the 8525 supports upto v 2.0 which makes no difference for me.

I have used the Motorola 700, 850, 820, 500, Jabra BT 130, and two platronics ones and have finally found the one that i love. It is by a company called Cardo and it is the Scala 700.

It's likely a function of how much $$$ u r willing to spend...

You'll get better range, battery life and connectivity with Bluetooth 2.0 but you'll spend a lot more (>50$).

I've been using the Plantronics 665 for about 2 weeks now and love it. In addition to the normal voice dialing features, it has a smaller size and weight than most competitors. The design is also less obtrusive than others (Hello, Jawbone).

CNet has several good reviews:

Better yet, wait for Bluetooth 2.1 and you'll get 5x the battery life.
