i have a spv m5000 ( same as qtek 9000)
when i bought the pocket pc i also purchased a mini SD card of 2gb capacity
i've used it for a few weeks, but suddenly, the pc doesn't seem to recognize the mini SD card....it says that the mem card is missing (not installed)

a) you could try cleaning the contacts on the miniSD card with an alcohol wipe to see if it works...
b) when you take out the card and put it in, does the spv m5000 do anything? does it recognize that something was inserted in the slot?
c) have you tried another miniSD card to see if it works?
Finally, if you bought the pc with a phone line, the phone company should be able to check out your phone and see if the unit is damaged.
I had trouble with a 1Gig miniSD card when I filled it almost to capacity, so I switched it and the phone works fine now....

so i've tried cleaning the card contacts but nothing happend....
so in the following days ill try and get hold of another sd card..
if the card doesn't work, ill go to the phone dealer and ask him to fix my phone
Instead of putting the card in the PC I put it in my digicam and let it take some photos. Later on when I again inserted it in the PC it worked. Don't know why but it has happened twice and both times this has worked. Try your luck mate.
