so ive been trying to sync up my motorola bluetooth headset to my 8125 and it keeps asking me for a password. it can find the device and aquire it but it wont let me use it unless i put in a password. to my knowledge ive never set a password on either device...any suggestions?
I remember from many moons ago that my Motorola BT headset gave a four-digit pass key required to pair it to my phone, entered in the phone's setup area. I don't recall whether it was 0000, 1111, or 1234. If you have your headset's documentation, you should find the key listed, possibly in the instructions for pairing the headset with a device.
Most Motorola's BT headsets passcode is 0000 (four zero's). If you go to bluetooth help on the motorola website they also have a bluetooth section under support where they will walk you through configuring your headset with most bluetooth enabled phones.

Just in case, I had a problem with a bluetooth headset that needed to have the installation deleted every time I tried a bad password... otherwise the good password wouldn't work...
Here's another way to get it to sync up..... 1st- Take that turkey in the picture for your avatar and get rid of it. 2nd- Put your 8125 in the oven and turn it to 450 degrees. 60 percent of the time it works 100 percent of the time!!!!

ok...just fixed it. i was using the slide out keyboard to input the 0's which meant having to hold the red dot and press 0. instead, i just used the keyboard on the screen and with my stylus got it all to work.
